What: The small business blog has been around since 2008 and it has undergone several transformation, front-end wise. This year, the site needs to do better in presenting and packaging content in such a way that it’s appealing to both readers and search engines.
Why: As Google is more stricter than ever with its algorithm updates, the site needs to focus on content, adopting responsive design and fast-loading. The site need to re-focus on content, so we choose a WordPress theme which is doing just that: Focusing on content.
How: We choose Editr WordPress theme from ThemeForest because the theme puts content on top-most priority. We customize the homepage to highlight several partner programs Noobpreneur.com have – such as the banner on top of the featured post. We also customize the sticky sidebar so that it can contain banner (this is tricky.)
